ADOPT-A-HORSE

You can become an integral part of the life of one of Tierra Madre’s horses.  And he or she can become an integral part of yours.  No matter where you live.  And you can impress all your friends & relatives by being able to say, “I have a horse in Arizona!”

It’s easy & it’s mutually-rewarding – for you & your friend.

By way of background, it costs approximately $200 a month to provide a horse with hay, grain, supplements, labor, farrier costs - & treats.  And your monthly “adoption” donation will help us to offset some of those expenses.  Further, your monthly donation is tax-deductible.

Your twelve-month commitment of $50 a month will entitle you to the following:

* A set of black-lacquered shoes from your horse
* A lock of your horse’s mane
* An 8”x10” glossy photo of your horse
* A complete written biography of your horse
* Quarterly written updates on your horse’s shenanigans over the past three months
* An official Tierra Madre “Adoption Certificate”
* An official announcement in the daily Tierra Madre blog & on the Alex Brown Racing Forum  

Note: For an additional one-time donation of $50, you can have an actual painting done by your horse, fully mounted & matted & ready to frame.

Just to put things in a bit of perspective, your $50 monthly donation amounts to less than $1.70 a day.  Pennies, really.

But it can make an enormous difference in the life of a horse that has finally found his or her way home from a life of abuse, abandonment, injury or neglect.
